User not able to login the Jabber. The error is "username and/or password is not correct”.

Basically the user is synchronized via LDAP and on the end user page I have checked Enable User for Unified CM IM and Presence and have assigned the devices as well. However, when I am checking in IM&P server (SYSTEM > Toplology), the user is showing in UnAssigned Users and when I click the username itz again taking me to Cisco call manager were everything is fine. CUCM version is 10.5 I just need to get the user in assigned list or the user should be able to loginPlease suggest in this case. Thanks.

Can you assign it to a presence server, in cucm got to user managements > assign presence users.

Thank you so much, Dennis, for the quick reply . But while assigning I am getting error "Update failed. Cannot assign a user to a server that is not in a valid state", any idea about this?
