Team, customer is looking at moving to a Citrix environment.
The customer would like to have access to the PG's registry values based on
their notes below:

The main challenge is where the PG configuration values reside in the Window¿s
registry. Currently CTIOS references a key in the HKLM section of the registry.
We currently have multiple PG pairs that a user may login to. We want to change
the PG value based upon what user login is used to access the machine. If the
referenced location could be moved under HKLU then that would open up the
possibilities for us to streamline the configuration process.

Specifically how do other customers address clients of multiple PG pairs
needing to exist on the same citrix cluster?

Can anyone comment?

We have a similar issue (One farm and 2 clusters).  We ended up creating two published applications one for each cluster and installing half of the Citrix servers pointing to one set of PGs and the other half to the second set of PGs.  We then, via login script dropped an icon for the correct published app on the users published desktop.  So in effect they are running a citrix client within the Citrix published Desktop.  It seems to be working fine.

Can  you please clarify a bit more what is that you want to do with the PG registry? and if you are refering to CTIOS Client?

My questions are because only CTIOS Clients are supported under Citrix not CTIOS Server. And when you talk about the PG registry you are refering to the PG host registry which again PGs are not supported under Citrix.

So this is apparently in reference to the issues my company is having.  So, let me elaborate further and then maybe folks will have more feedback.

We are using Citrix PS4 currently.  We want to be able to publish one  desktop that has the CTIOS client installed that will work for all of our call centers.  Our challlenge is that due to limitations at the time of rollout multiple PG pairs had to be deployed based on total supported userbase of around 500 agents per PG pair.  We have multiple call centers so 3 PG pairs had to be deployed to handle the load.  Each call center points to it's own PG pair.  Now we want to centralize those call centers and still utilize CTIOS pointed to the call center PG pair that the user is associated with.  Obviously, the problem on the Cisco side is that the client can only point to one PG pair at a time from what I've seen and been told.  Our hope was that once we moved to the right version of Cisco Call Manager that "supported Citrix" that we would be able to overcome this problem.  The root of which I believe is that the registry keys that we are concerned about are local machine keys and not user keys.

So there it is in a nutshell.  Obviously, in Citrix I've been able to isolate the client into three different published applications.  The issue is Citrix can't isolate machine specific registry keys.  We also can not go down the road of silo'ing servers that point to specific PG pairs.  That's just not a good design isn't cost efficient.

Any thoughts?
