Desktop layout modification does not apply on finesse desktop

I am trying to add a gadget, on the desktop layout of finesse administration everything is good but when i login as an agent nothing is appearing even the a simple tab is not appearing

what is the problem ?

I need to see what you set the layout to and a screenshot of what you are seeing on the agent.
