Packaged Contact Center Enterprise 12.6 Finesse out of service

Finesse is found "out of service" from the newly launched Lab (Packaged Contact Center Enterprise 12.6) 

Try both per lab guide,  same result
1) https://fin-pub-a-50.berlin.icm:8445/desktop
2) remote desktop to AW1-A, launch Firefox and select 'Cisco Finesse' from the bookmark bar.

Error Message: "This Finesse Server is currently out of service. For more information, contact your administrator "

 

Tried restarting the phone by running c:\StartScript\StartCUCATT.bat from AW1-A server. but that didn't help either.

 

Any thoughts?

Hi @Simonnthecat ,

Thank you for letting us know. It appears that the sandbox is having a timing issue in terms of the startup of the services. As a result, RouterA is stopped and causing the CTI server to be out of service.

To fix this issue, RDP to RGR-A (Rogger) - 10.10.20.22 using the credentials listed. Launch Unified CCE Service Control from the desktop and start RouterA.

In my reservation, the phone was not running so if that is still the case after getting Finesse IN_SERVICE, restart the phones using the command you mentioned in your post (c:\StartScript\StartCUCATT.bat from AW1-A server).

We will work on getting this fixed so this workaround will no longer be necessary.

Finesse needs to connect to both the CTI server and the AW database.

Is the CTI server in service and configured correctly on the Finesse Admin?

https://<finesse>/cfadmin

There are some test connectivity options on the main config page - and after any changes you have to restart "Cisco Finesse Tomcat"

 

Is the CCE Agent PG (PG01) in service - and the JGW in service ? Check Dianostic portal?
i.e. it needs to connect to CUCM and connect successfully with the user "pguser"

Is the CTI Service in service on the PG server?
