Hello @atalebzadeh ,
Hope you are doing well.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you want to know if you are able to insert QSFP-40/100-SRBD on uplink on the N9K-93600CD-GX ?

To be on the same page, N9K-93600CD-GX interfaces mapping is:
- 28 x 100G/40G QSFP host ports.
- 8 x 400G QSFP-DD uplink ports.

The answer is yes - any port on this switch [N9K-93600CD-GX] is capable to support QSFP-40/100G-SRBD, that includes the 8 uplink ports, too.

Please let me know if it helped you, thank in advance for your feedback.

Have a nice day.

Kind Regards,

Hello @atalebzadeh ,
Hope you are doing well.

This should be supported according to the optics compatibility matrix, starting 9.3.3 for NXOS, 14.2.2 for ACI.

Hope it replies to your query.

Hi @anpetit

actually, I`v checked it, the problem is that switch support QSFP-DD on uplinks, but my spine switches don`t have 400G port (N9K-C9364C-GX), i want to know that is it possible use QSFP-40/100-SRBD on uplinks port or use down links as uplink?

Many Thanks

Hi @anpetit

Thank you for your direct answer, based on your answer we can use QSFP-40/100G-SRBD on 8 uplink ports on switch N9K-93600CD-GX.

Is there any documentation available that demonstrates the compatibility of using that transceiver on uplink ports?

Best Regards,
