I have a need to adapt analog telephony devices to many different SIP telephone systems.
I ordered an AT 187 based on teh descriptions on the web site, and the "9incorrect) links found through website search that led me to teh ATA 186/188 Admin guide.
Anyway, now that I have the ATA 187, and I have managed to track down teh correct admin guide for it, it appears that it will ONLY work with CUCM or CME.
Is this true? If so, what a disappointment. Is there another Cisco product that will work with ANY SIP server/system?

Ata with sip load can be used with other third party systems.

How do I set it up? The docs only deal with CUCM and a tftp server.

You have to look at the 3rd party vendor's documentation.

So I think what you mean is that the 3rd party SIP system needs to be ablle to support the tftp config method, just like CUCM would?

You can send the config from any TFTP, just change the tftpURL by going to http:
