Nexus switch hardware

Hi,

I have Nexus 3548 switch which is supposed to be 10GX version which is new one, which I can see in inventory but when do show version it doesn't show as GX version, is it because of old version??

thats normal. inventory shows exact model number. show version most of times shows series of device.

ok thanks whilst on another box with later software version I can see the it correctly lists.

correct that can be different out puts in different versions.

there are four parts in NSK 
SUP 
Fabric 
module 
and Chassis 

so you can see different part in each command
