I've been trying to find some guides and get some help working with CAM.
Scenario:
Within CAM monitor and asset to see when it goes offline. When the devices goes offline make an API Call (HTTP - GET- REST) to another system.
Within CAM create a listener for an API call to CAM that would refresh the device status and update it respectively.
I've figured out how to do the first bit; I'm using a Policy with a script to watch the device and then make the REST Call. However doing it this way means that the REST API call is made however often CAM runs/checks the policy. - How do I get this down to a single call until the state is reset and it transitions from "ON" to "OFF" again?
I've been looking at the documentation but it isn't clear to me how we create the event for the API Listener.
