NOC Design - Road map

Dear all

I am trying to search about how to design and implement a NOC. Could you help me about this topic. I wanna know these items generally:

1- How to design a NOC?

2- How to find out requirements?

3- what kind of mechanism should I use to answer problems and monitor?

4- How should I organize staff to manage my NOC?

5- What kind of devices or softwares I have to use?

Any one who knows and works at large scale organizations like Internet provider can give me information or any other resources.

Hello,

As a starting point I would recommend you to research about ITIL, specifically the ITIL Service Operation module (ITIL is a set of best practices for managing IT Services).
