Hi,
I´ve two Datacenters which have in the future a backup Connection with an L2TPv3 over ipsec.
The tunnels are up and running an I can make Connections over it. But I want to connect on both
sides a switch which blocked the Connection via STP. So I´ve configured bad STP costs on switchports
which are connected with the Routers (3845-HSEC). But the Switchports are allways going in the desgn. forwarding state.
So I read some KB article in the WWW and I found out, that a L2TPv3 can´t Transport protocols like STP,CDP....
Is this true ? Because I found an other article where the guys run´s L2TP tunnel with MST over it....
So, what´s right now. And how can I fixed my Problem. Is AToM an alternative solution ? Works AToM with STP ?
Can someone give me a configuration example for this ? I´ve configured my last AToM/MPLS many years ago.....
