Problem with assigning Ip address on Router fastethernet interface.

Hello guys,

I am trying to assign an IP address for a Router FastEthernet interface on Packet Tracer but it does not work it says Unrecognized command and tried this on all routers at Packet Tracer but again it did not work and I am using a Mac Laptop, please any guide or help will be appreciated,

 Can you share you project here and the error you got?

You need to zip the PKT file before attach

Thank you so much for your email, actually, it is in all routers on Packet
Tracer, if you open packet tracer and drag a Router that has both
interfaces gigabit ethernet and FastEthernet then try to assign an IP
address for FasteEthernet then you gent an error and you will not be able
to assign Ip address for that interface, thank you

that is new issue for me; never had such problem with PT;  Try update or re-install PT and check updates for your MAC OS.  Show us screen shot of your issue

what is your experience with Cisco CLI?  are u at CCNA level ?   Try to find and follow basic Cisco CCNA lab
