I am wondering if you can please answer this.
So you ask a Cisco TAC for an advise/best practices on let say routing. You ask them their view on for example routing specific network in a specific way. You are wondering if you are doing it right or wrong and see what Cisco have say on it.
Can Cisco TAC turn around and say they don't advise customer and all they can do is to help in configuration and T-shooting.
Like what are TAC support legal scope of responsibilities.
Thank you,

TAC Engineers, especially the junior ones, will not provide "their opinion". They will provide references/documents about the subject matter. It is up to the client to read and understand the information provided and make an educated call.

What you're looking for is not the TAC but a very specialized team called "High Touch".
