This tool is based on the current (2014/09/18) SDK sample code as well as the old Nessus Connector. This script parses .nessus files from the local file system and uploads them to Defense Center via the host input API so it can be used for Impact Flag correlation and RNA Recommended Rules
The connector can run on any external host, including the Nessus host itself. I have only tested this on Windows Server 2008 R2
