Alright, so I seem to have to had changed it to

install all nxos usb2:nxos.9.3.10.bin

Because bootflash: kept coming back

 install all nxos bootflash:nxos.9.3.10.bin
Installer will perform compatibility check first. Please wait.
Installer is forced disruptive

"Failed to process nxos image".
Pre-upgrade check failed. Return code 0x807B0002 (No such file or directory).

Seems to work now, thank you.

Alright, I may have found the solution.

I had the nxos.9.3.10.bin on my HD and I moved it to USB. On Nexus I 'boot usb1:nxos.9.3.10.bin' and it seems to be working.

Gah! After a reboot it goes back to loader. Any suggestions after booting off the correct image how to make it permanent after a reload?

After booting from the usb, should have copied it to bootflash and after that issuing the

install all nxos bootflash:nxos.9.3.10.bin

command.

That makes sense. But I did recall visually seeing when I did it that it indeed copied from usb to boot flash automatically. But now I know to copy first. I did reload and it kept it. Ty

You are welcome.
