IP Phone Configured not to prompt for a call out pin

Good day Sir/Madam

I have configured a Cisco IP phone not to prompt for a call out pin however when i make an external call the IP Phone displays the switch board number on external phones instead of displaying the actual phone number

Couple of things:

1. Check the External Phone Number Mask (CUCM admin > Device > Phone > DN) of the DN making the call.
2. Does this happen for all phones or only one particular phone? Could be that your carrier is overwriting caller ID with the BTN.

It only happens with this phone only the External Phone Mask is 041508XXXX

Check with your carrier to see if they will route a call with this caller ID. Some carriers will only allow you to present a calling number that represents a number that you own.
