In the process of having our VMware host boot devices live on SD card internal to blades vs. on SAN. In making the change I've been made aware of the following policies I need to create/modify:
Local Disk
Srub
Boot
My plan is to update our template, which is our case is an autoupdating template, from what I've seen I can make those the changes necessary, but the type of changes I'm making are not prompting my blades to go into an acknowledgement mode. I'm assuming its by design and based on the actual changes i'm making not having the same kind an impact an addition of a nic or something to that affect.
Any feedback would be great.
