I am trying to converts ports from Ethernet to FC on UCS but the slider is starting from left to right instead of right to left. Is this the new firmware?.

This isn't (really) a code/firmware difference but more a difference between older 6200 generations and newer 6300+ generations.

Right-to-left. Left-to-right.
Doesn't matter a lot. Has to do with what FC capable ASIC back which front-facing ports.

The best doc I could find detailing the differences is:
+ https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/ucs-manager/Reference-Docs/Configuration-Limits/4-2/b_UCS_Configuration_Limits_4_2.html#reference_ghd_fkr_pjb

6200 is right-to-left.
6300-16UP is left-to-right on the "UP" ports.
6400 is left-to-right on 1-16.
6500 is back to right-to-left on 33-36.

Hope that helps.
