I have a few questions and I hope someone helps me. If you have a topology such as the one above, how would you configure the distribution switches 1 and 2 and will all uplinks to the distribution switches be active??     Thanks in advance.

Let's say I install a linecard with either a DFC or CFC in the chassis. The sup 2T has a PFC which makes all the forwarding decisions. Then what's the use of the DFC/CFC on the linecard?

I've got two questions and I'm sorry if they seem like stupid questions!   First, do I have to to buy SFPs/QSFPs etc transceivers etc in order to connect the cables to the ports on the I/O modules? Can't I just connect cables directly to the switch? ...

The sup2t in the 6807-xl supports up to 220 Gbps per slot. What does per-slot bandwidth mean?
