WebEx meeting: Lock a room via the API

Do you know whether it would be possible to lock a room by using the API?

I've already seen a post related to that topic, but as it's quite old, maybe the API has been improved during the last two years.

WebEx does not allow the update of in progress meetings. Locking a meeting that is in progress can only be done by the host of the meeting via the meeting application user interface.
