Cisco Prime Custom Monitoring Policies

Hi,

On Cisco Prime it is possible to create custom alarm plocies and our customer has requested that one be created for channel utilisation per AP.    Therefore, when creating the policy and selecting the signal to noise ration threshold limit to trigger an alarm, the value specified is 1000 Decibel.    Can someone please tell me what this value represents as the normal signal to noise ratio (signal - noise) would be specified as something like 25db.   Therefore, I fail to understand the values specified by Prime within this policy.

Thanks

Hi

I suppose this is wrong. Which Prime version is this?

Keep in mind that 30 dBm is equivalent to 1W (1000 mW). Looks like the are confusing mW with dBm.
