The question on Netsight support for Catalyst switches including 2960XR is best answered by Extreme.
From Cisco's perspective, we have the following management tools support for 2960XR:
1. Cisco Prime - has a comprehensive view
2. Smaller networks can also use CNA with device managers as GUI (<50 nodes; CNA is our free tool)
3. Our SDN controller is APIC-EM; support is due shortly. It can do CLI on southbound & Rest/OF on northbound – If Netsight is capable of those then it can talk thru APIC-EM.
4. We also have a roadmap OF natively in very near future.
