A Field Guide covering advanced network configurations for Cisco Compute Hyperconverged with Nutanix systems. This guide covers network configurations with disjoint layer 2 networks north of the Cisco UCS domain, i.e. two distinct physically separate networks north of the Cisco Fabric Interconnects, each carrying their own set of VLAN IDs. In addition, this guide covers migrations of systems using the VMware ESXi hypervisor from the standard virtual switch design to using distributed virtual switches. This guide is intended for technical training and educational purposes, for all who wish to install Nutanix on Cisco UCS based hardware following our supported hardware and software integrations and compatibility lists.
